Biography
He is working at the National Institute for Health and Welfare, Chronic diseases prevention, as well. Helsinki city Hospital (Malmi), Geriatric department. He received Medical Doctorate degree in 1994 and PhD degree in medical sciences later on. He is working at the Helsinki University, department of public health, teaching and research section. His research interests include Epidemiology, Chronic disease prevention, type 2 diabetes, the prevention of diabetes and its complications, nutrition and diabetes, lifestyle and diabetes, cancer and nutrition, cancer and lifestyle, and nutrition and physical activity in the prevention of chronic disease. He is Member of the editorial board of several medical journals and reviewer for many high ranked journals and member of Diabetes Association, Cardiovascular and Interventional Society of Europe and several others.

Biography
Dr. Bourin is currently serving as a WHO expert for drug dependency and psychiatrist in handicapped people structure prior joining WHO he served as Professor of Pharmacology at the University of Nantes, Nantes, France, where he has been Head of Research in the Neurobiology of anxiety and depression from 1985 to 2009. He was also an adjunct professor of the Department of Psychiatry at Edmonton University in Alberta, Canada and is still a visiting professor at the University of Craiova in Rumania. Dr. Bourin has been a member of numerous international medical and psychiatric societies, including the European College of Neuropsychopharmacology (ECNP, British Psychopharmacology Association (BAP). He is also a Fellow of the Collegium Internationale Neuro-Psychopharmacologicum. It was during 3 years treasurer of ECNP. He is Doctor honoris causa of Tartu University (Estonia) and Craiova University (Romania) Dr. Bourin has a long publishing history, with more than 300 original articles in the field of psychopharmacology and psychiatry, and more than 250 educational/review articles or book chapters, in both English and French. He published and wrote 12 books in French.

Biography
Russell holds the chair in Health Systems at the University of Birmingham where he is currently Director of Research at the Health Services Management Centre (HSMC). He is also a visiting professor at the Australian Institute for Health Innovation, Sydney and in the Faculty of Medicine, University of Oslo. He was previously Director of the Centre for Health and Public Services Management at the University of York. His research interests embrace hospital governance, health care quality, patient safety and international health reform. He provides expert advice to a range of national and international health agencies, including WHO, OECD, EU, HM Treasury and the Department of Health. Russell has published 9 books and over 100 peer reviewed articles in leading scientific journals such as the British Medical Journal, The Lancet and The Milbank Quarterly and he has garnered several international prizes for his research including the Baxter European book award.
